| LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 2006/07 SEASON |

Harraby Catholic Club became the first Cumbrian based side to be crown League Champions of The Wade Associates Northern Football Alliance since the league's formation way back in the year of 1890. They clinced their first championship trophy with six games to spare when goals from David Wallace and Steve Archibald secured a two-goal win against Newcastle based side, Heaton Stannington. |

The Wade Associates Northern Alliance will stage the most important game in their 115-year history when they play hosts to The Isle of Man League in the 2nd round of the prestigious Football Association competition.
The venue for the tie is Whitley Bay Football Club's Hillhead Ground on Saturday 12th November, kick-off 2.30pm, and the game is being sponsored by the main League sponsor, Wade Associates, together with additional support from Skandia and Axa Sunlife.
The Northern Alliance progressed to the last sixteen of this years competition, which carries European qualification for the eventual winners with a two-goal away win against the Wearside League. |

This year's "Sportsman's Dinner" will be held at The Assembly Rooms, Newcastle upon Tyne on Thursday 2nd March 06 when guest speakers will be former Burnley, Wolves and Huddersfield striker Steve Kindon who will be assisted by award winning comedian, Lea Roberts.
