NEXT MEETING ....
The first meeting of season 2009-10 will be on Monday 3rd August 2009 at Sutton United's ground as usual. Meeting will commence at 8.00 pm but it may be to your advantage to arrive at 7.30 pm to get your League business done.
At this meeting, you will receive a sheet with the Club and contact details of all the teams in your division as they will appear in the new Directory. There will also be alteration forms available for you to make corrections to your entry in the Directory and permit forms for those of you who need one.
No Excuses accepted - every Club must be represented! |
| AFFILIATIONS |
|
AFFILIATIONS Don't forget your Club has to affiliate to a County FA (either Surrey or London) before it can play any matches which inludes pre-season friendlies. All existing Clubs should have received by now their renewal Form for next Season. If you haven't please contact your County FA NOW. When you affiliate you will receive a Receipt No (probably pre-fixed GJE or GIE). Please inform Mike Dillon (Asst League Secretary) of that Receipt Number by 21st June 2009 at the latest. The questionnaire from Surrey FA about entry into their County Cups will be circulated with your Surrey Handbook which will be round about August.

We still have a couple of vacancies for Vet teams. If any club is interested or if any existing Club knows of a Vets team that might be interested, please call Keith Prince on 07956 161872.

| England v Slovenia |
|
If anyone is interested in puchasing tickets for the England v Slovenia full International to be played on Saturday 5th September at Wembley, please contact Keith Prince. The closing date for League applications is 22nd June – after this time tickets will go on public sale which usually restricts the amount of tickets that anyone can purchase. Keith would therefore need to know by Saturday 20th June at the latest.
Ticket prices are £40, £30 and family enclosure £30 adults and £15 children. The game represents an ideal opportunity to go to Wembley for a full international at reasonable prices.

ALL CLUBS HAVE TO BE REPRESENTED AT THESE MEETINGS OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF A FINE. |

Sporting St George (team no 90) have a full football kit for sale, never used, boxed and still in plastic that they're looking to sell. It was won in a talksport competition sponsored by Wickes and has their logo on the 15 blue and white wide striped shirts, also with blue shorts and socks. A full goalkeepers kit is included also.
