Fixtures for the 2010-11 season are expected to be released on 28th. July 2010, but cannot be started until the Ryman League fixtures are published. This problem surrounds the fact that several Essex Senior League Clubs share with clubs from other competitions, primarily Ryman League Division One North at Step Four.

Essex Senior League fixtures are therefore neccessarily lower in the "pecking order" of ground availability.

The League also notes that the Ryman League website is telling of a delay in the publication of their fixtures due to the situation surrounding Grays Athletic, and this may have a further "knock-on" effect in publishing the full list of Essex Senior League fixtures.

Fixtures for the earliest round of the FA Challenge Cup Sponsored by E-On and the FA Carlsberg Vase are however now available on this website. 

August 2010 Fixtures for the Essex Senior League will be publishe during Sunday 27th. August,Fixtures for the rest of the season will follow during the latter half of next week.

The Essex Senior League is delighted to announce the creation of its new dedicated website for followers of the league's fortunes this season.

Although not as big and detailed as some of its counterparts, we aim to try to be helpful to all surfers who visit it during the coming months, whilst also retaining our very successful links with Football Mitoo for our eighth consecutive season.

News from the Ryman League website is that any late change to the Essex Senior League constitution can be ruled out as Grays Athletic will now be placed at Step Four sharing the ground of East Thurrock United and playing in Ryman League Division One North.

This will lead to another delay before the fixtures for the Essex Senior League can be made as adjustments will have to be made to other Ryman League Division One North club fixtures to fit in the Grays matches. We are now being advised that Ryman Division One North should be able to publish their fixtures "during next week".

Work will start on the Essex Senior League fixtures as soon as is possible, although it may now be necessary for the opening fixtures for August to be published first with the remainder of the fixtures following as soon as possible afterwards.
