Whitworths 2 Huntingdon Town 3
Saturday, 13 October 2007
Ten man Huntingdon progressed with this hard fought success at London Road.
The visitors made a great start with Chris Caswell giving them a second minute lead with a header and Adam Taylor doubling the advantage after twenty minutes with a low left footed shot from the edge of the box.
Andy Brown's dismissal for a second caution was a setback for Huntingdon and a minute before the interval Cavell Jarvis put the Flourmen back in the hunt.
Mark Burrows headed in from a set piece at the far post after 50 minutes to restore the two goal margin, and although Matt Freeman again cut the deficit five minutes later, Huntingdon held on to book a last 16 place.
