Charlton  3    Freeland  5

Saturday, 13 April 2013

Horrible conditions greeted the sides at Charlton United - who elected to go against the conditions first in this relegation battle.
The visitors started well using the wind to full effect when a loopy ball from the right eluded everyone and found an unmarked forward at the back post to head into the empty net. A second soon followed after good play on the right again, the cross being knocked in at the front post. A third was in direct from a corner moments later to heap further misery on the home side. Charlton pulled one back just before the break however time still remained to concede again this time from a well struck free kick.
Freeland added a fifth just after the restart and although Charlton pulled 2 back through a Vinny Barret header and direct from an Anthony Davidson corner, Freeland were comfortable and deserved winners.
