After three successive league and cup reverses normal service resumed for the Poachers as they demolished Bourne to cling onto top slot in the Premier.
In demand Poacher Jon Rowan, a target for neighbours Boston United, gave the Poachers the lead on the half hour after a left wing run and cross from Neal Spafford, with Gary Bull adding a second for Boston two minutes later, converting Liam Parker's cross from six yards.
Rowan scored his second after 51 minutes, a cross shot from Bull's flick, with Robbie Pearce replying for the Wakes three minutes later with a long range strike.
Rowan scored his hat trick goal, and eighth of the season, Bull the provider after 64 minutes with number six of the campaign for Bull rounding off the scoring on 76 minutes, the goal ace converting a Danny Cairns corner.
