Daventry United  0    Sleaford Town  3

Saturday, 01 May 2010

An era ended on a low note as Daventry United's last match at Royal Oak Way resulted in defeat.

Jamie McCormack's 18h minute starter, a free kick into the top corner after a foul on Miles Hunter, had Sleaford in front at the interval.

With twenty minutes remaining McCormack doubled the visiting lead with a volley from a Ryan Oliver cross and after Olver was thwarted by the woodwork their top ten finish was confirmed by an 80th minute third from Hunter who converted Andrew Scott's long clearance for his 38th goal of the season.
