Stones twice led but had to settle for a point after S&L fought back to share the spoils. In form marksman Ashley Stevens fired Blackstones into a 23rd minute lead from close range after Dab Cottom flicked on a Kevin Ainslie cross but the visitors equalised eight minutes from the end of the first half through Michael Stanton who latched onto a wayward clearance to fire home. Stones were in front at half time though, Jamie Gilsenan the 43rd minute marksman against one of his old clubs. Derek Simmons scored a second equaliser for S&L after 67 minutes following good work by Greig McIlwain and Danny Steed.
