Stotfold  1    Desborough Town  3

Saturday, 04 March 2006

Desborough moved six points clear of the relegation zone with this win at mid table Stotfold. Recent recruit Chris Logan gave Ar Tarn a 35th minute advantage, heading home after David Glass and Jamie O'Neill combined, and a minute before the interval Brian Hardie doubled the visitors' lead after latching on to a ball over the top from Glyn Davies. Jason Thomas hauled the Eagles back into the contest three minutes into the second half, volleying in after good work by John De Souza. With ten minutes remaining Hardie's second of the afternoon, a penalty awarded for a foul by Dean Chapman on O'Neill, made the points safe for Desborough as they celebrated their first away win of the campaign.
