After losing to the Royals in league and cup action, the Walnut Boys found their goal touch to exact revenge at The Hollow.

Jon Woolf set the ball rolling from the penalty spot seven minutes in and Kempston's lead was doubled ten minutes later by Peter Chappell's own goal.

Kofi Schulz made it three for the visitors a minute before the half hour mark.

Theo Swaine marked his Potton debut with a 33rd minute goal, but three minutes later Chris Winton restored the visitors' three goal lead.

Aaron Baldwin took Kempston's tally to five in the dying seconds of the first half and he scored his second seven minutes after the restart.

Emmanuel Pondayi missed a penalty for the Walnut Boys as the match moved towards a finale.

Graham Tibbals replied for the Royals after 81 minutes to spark a late goal flurry which saw Pondayi complete the Kempston tally on 83 minutes and Tibbals net another home consolation five minutes from the end.
