Rovers strengthened their grip on third place with this victory at Chancery Lane.

The home side almost took an early lead when Nick Harrison struck the post with a free kick.

Craig Lanham opened the scoring for Rovers after 37 minutes,dispossesing a defender and chipping home keeper Dan Waters.

The lead was doubled in the final minute of the half by Darren Woodend, who volleyed in from the edge of the box after a build up on the right.

Adam Boothby sealed Eynesbury's win with a third visiting goal after 65 minutes, winning a tussle with Keith Morson and racing clear to send a shot just inside the far post.

Cavell Jarvis scored an 85th minute Thrapston consolation from the penalty spot following a foul by Barry Albone.
