Huntingdon Town  5    Stewarts & Lloyds Corby  0

Saturday, 22 September 2012

Huntingdon made it four successive league wins as Stewarts & Lloyds manager Daren Young had an unhappy return to one of his former clubs.

Dan Drane opened Town's account after 11 minutes, punishing a defensive error.

Three minutes later the lead was doubled by Ricky Dear's long range effort.

When Niks Savelnieks added a Town third, heading in a free kick in the 45th minute of the first half the points were all but under lock and key, but there was still time for Ben Seymour-Shove to add to the goal tally a minutes into added time before the break.

The only addition to the scoresheet on resumption came from Victor Torres who headed in a Seymour-Shove corner after 77 minutes.
