Long Buckby  0    Daventry Town  2

Tuesday, 16 February 2010

Daventry moved to the top of the Premier Division table with this derby success in a close contest at Station Road.

Josh O'Grady's goalline clearance from Ben Foster denied Buckby an early lead.

Russ Dunkley's header from a Josh Blake flick on gave Town the edge on the half hour.

Top scorer Tom Berwick added a second with a chip from the edge of the box seven minutes later.

Buckby had their chances, the best falling to Foster, but failed to convert as Daventry kept their first clean sheet of 2010.
