Sleaford moved seven points clear of the relegation zone with this impressive success at Westwood Road.

Jamie Shaw gave the visitors the lead after sixteen minutes, converting a Paul Reece cross from close range, before Tom Siddons doubled the Sleaford advantage after 32 minutes, Shaw the provider this time.

Shaw, set up by Reece, scored Sleaford's third goal three minutes after the restart but St Ives fought back.

Barry Albone scored from close range following a free kick after 62 minutes and four minutes later Dan Pilsworth netted a second for the Saints, following up to score after Danny Tomlinson saved Will Fordham's effort from the penalty spot. Oliver Sidney was red carded for disputing the decision.

Jason Sedlan's 81st minute goal eased Sleaford nerves and he scored again three minutes from time, collecting a Robin Holderness pass to fire home from outside the box.
