Deeping picked up their first home win of the season, eventually overwhelming a game Cuckoos side.

Yaxley competed well in the first half but fell behind to a 22nd minute penalty awarded for handball by Marc Day and converted by Mark Paul.

A second Rangers goal after 57 minutes, a Paul shot which was turned past his own goalkeeper by Lewis Stone, gave the home side a firm grip on proceedings.

Paul finished confidently from Jimmy Dean's defence splitting pass after 63 minutes and substitute Sam Makansi had the last word with a solo effort againsthis former club a minute into added time.
