Michael Byrne's four goal salvo sunk the beleagured Shopmates on their return to action at Kiln Park.

Stand in Shopmates manager Scott Manning saw his charges take a fifth minute lead through Luke Raftery and the Foundrymen trailed until Byrne opened his account five minutes before the break.

A turning point came after 72 minutes when a foul by Gavin Fitzgerald saw him dismissed and Byrne converted the spot kick.

Byrne added to his tally after 78 and 80 minutes, settling the outcome as the striker took his season's goal tally to 22.

David Sheridan completed the scoring in the last minute.
