Michael Byrne's late penalty earned the Foundrymen their first point at Lincoln Road in four seasons.
Byrne had given S&L the lead eight minutes in, intercepting a back pass and expertly steering the ball across goalkeeper Ian Flavell into the far corner.
An end to end start Avelino Vieira head over for Stones, Byrne sting Flavell's palms after cuttin in from the left and Andy Boome and Kevin Ainslie combine to play Jon Stead in on the left only for Richard Lavin to save.
Vieira equalised after sixteen minutes, crashing home a great first time shot from just outside the box.
Flavell's fingertip save prevented Mark Forbes from regaining the lead for S&L with a well struck free kick and from the resulting corner Callum Noble's header was cleared off the line by Ainslie.
It was Blackstones who went in front after 34 minutes, Boome and Mark Jones combining to free Stead whose low shot squirmed under Lavin.
Lavin kept the interval scores close with a fine tip over from Stead.
The Foundrymen made the brighter start to the second half with Lee Garvie playing in Stuart McClarty to shoot over and Flavell saving a Byrne snap shot.
Lavin saved from Viera who had been released by Elton Holmes, but openings were less plentiful than in the opening half.
S&L levelled after 77 minutes. Scott Marshall was impeded by Darren Glover as he collected a David Sheridan pass and Byrne finished confidently from the spot.
Within a minute Mark Jones almost regained the lead for Stones, jinking inside from the flank and curling a shot just wide of the far post.
