Harrowby United  1    Desborough Town  1

Saturday, 31 December 2005

The Premier bottom two remain eight points apart after sharing the spoils at Harrowby Fields. The Arrows wasted the chances to pick up all three points with Boxing Day goal hero Steve Young the main culprit. He hit the woodwork from an eleventh minute spot kick awarded for a foul by Gary Clark and was denied twice more by the frame of the goal. Ar Tarn also hit the woodwork through Tom Mills. When Michael Byrne gave Ar Tarn a 79th minute lead with a shot through a crowded penalty area Harrowby looked set for another confidence denting defeat but within a minute a Rick Kimbell own goal had given them a hard earned point.
