Stewarts & Lloyds Corby  2    Bourne Town  0

Saturday, 31 December 2005

This win gave Stewarts & Lloyds thirteen points from five December matches and lifted them to 13th place in the end of year Premier table. Seam Brennan was the S&L matchwinner, opening the scoring in the dying seconds of the first half and following up with a second to seal victory a minute from time. Lee Garvie was the provider with left wing crosses on each occasion. Heavy Bourne pressure in the second half went unrewarded as S&L defended well, with Chris Gray closest to a goal for the Wakes with an effort which hit the bar.
