Saturday, 16 January 2010

Two second half penalties from Darren Lynch gave the Swans revenge for an earlier home defeat by Sleaford.

Matt Lunn broke the deadlock with the home opener a minute before the interval, controlling Tom Ward's cross and firing home.

Fouls by Kris Jones on first Daren Dykes and second Jordan Spruce turned the contest.

Lynch scored from the resulting spot kicks after 50 and 70 minutes to take his season's goal tally to twenty as Newport fought back to take the points.
