Old hands St Neots edged out Premier newcomers St Ives at Rowley Park in the first top flight derby between the clubs. St Neots player manager Steve Kuhne gave his side the lead from the penalty spot on the half hour with his 21st goal of the season, the kick awarded after Gary Walker was brought down by Stefan Lewis. St Ives equalised after 61 minutes, Lewis the close range marksman from a corner by Glyn Cooke, but a stunning 30 yard strike from Gary Walker seven minutes later won it for the homesters.
