Boston Town  1    Stewarts & Lloyds Corby  2

Friday, 23 December 2005

The Poachers suffered a setback in their title quest as Stewarts & Lloyds extended their winning run to three matches. Boston started well enough and took a ninth minute lead through Paul Goodhand. Lee Garvie equalised for S&L after 25 minutes and four minutes later Chris Caswell scored what proved to be the decisive goal. Shortly afterwards the Poachers had Kris Jones red carded, but nonetheless the ten men went on to battle hard but in vain for an equaliser with both James Brader and Nathan Collins denied by the frame of the goal.
