Buckingham Town  1    Deeping Rangers  0

Saturday, 17 December 2005

This match nearly didn't happen after the appointed referee went to the wrong ground, but when play eventually got underway the Robins came out on top, a 75th minute header by Reuben Max-Grant from a Marcus Sawyer cross giving Buckingham a double over their struggling visitors. Both sides had struggled to create openings in a low key encounter with Jamie Smith closest to a Rangers goal and Max-Grant thwarted by a fine Danny Bircham save late in the first half.
