S&L picked up three vital points with a narrow win over Wootton in an entertaining game at Occupation Road. The home side ran the show in the first half but almost fell victim to a counter attack just before the interval with home keeper Richard Lavin saving well. Lee Garvie made the decisive contribution with the winning goal after just eighteen seconds of the second half and the same player was denied a second goal by the woodwork.
