It finished with honours even at Roker with four goals shared by two well matched sides. Paul Harrington gave the Eagles the lead twelve minutes in after Richard Pringle held the ball up well but they were pegged back by a 38th minute reply from Tigers player manager Shaun Keeble who volleyed home from 30 yards. Tom Fielding gave Holbeach the lead on the hour with a header from a Keeble cross but Stotfold top scorer Ady Bascombe salvaged a point for his side a quarter of an hour from time, slotting home from Pringle's cushioned header.
