Bourne Town 2 Stotfold 4
Saturday, 10 December 2005
Stotfold claimed a sixth win in seven outings to continue their move up the table. Richard Pringle gave the Eagles a 14th minute lead after intercepting an under hit back pass from Bourne skipper Ryan Franklin, and four minutes later he added a second from close range from Ady Bascombe's centre. James Baxter reduced the arrears after 23 minutes with a lob over stranded keeper Nigel Blower from a Michael Stevenson pass but with a minute to play in the first half Darren Dykes scored a third for the visitors, scoring at the second attempt after his first effort from a Ryan Frater free kick was blocked on the line by Neal Spafford. A 61st minute penalty saw Pringle complete his hat trick after a foul by Franklin on Dykes before Mark O'Dea netted an 82nd minute Wakes consolation, a left foot volley following a corner.
