St Ives marched on with a seventeenth success home victory in all competitions.
The Cuckoos were up against it from 14 minutes in when Stuart Cobb gave the Saints the lead with an eight yard finish after Ozie Foster and David Cobb created the opening.
Aaron Last's close range header from a corner doubled the lead on the half hour.
Conor Washington's quest to top the Premier scorescharts saw him fire home from outside the box from David Cobb's pass after 41 minutes and score in a one on one situation three minutes after the restart following good work by Foster.
Lee Ellison sidefooted the home fifth after 73 minutes, Washington turning provider for this one.
