Simeon Jackson, signed on work experience from Rushden & Diamonds, made an instant impact on his Raunds debut, scoring twice as the Shopmates climbed to fifth place in the Premier Division. St Ives took a 24th minute lead through Craig Donaldson who slotted home a return pass from Liam Kennett, but Raunds levelled ten minutes before the break through Jackson who fired home from the edge of the box with keeper Aaron Bannie unsighted. The 18 year old scored his second ten minutes into the second half after collecting a Ryan Nash pass and accelerating past two defenders and substitute Adam Hancock rounded off the Shopmates victory six minutes from time after Jackson drew two defenders out of position to set up the chance.
