AFC Kempston Rovers 0 Boston Town 1
Saturday, 31 March 2012
Boston came out on top in this meeting of two out of form sides.
Their victory was their first in eight games, and condemned the Walnut Boys to a fourth consecutive defeat.
Phil Draycott went close for the Walnut Boys early on.
The decisive goal arrived from the penalty spot after 21 minutes, and it marked a milestone for scorer Gary Bull - it was the veteran front man's 200th goal in Boston colours! Paul Jones was fouled by Craig Grieve for the spot kick.
Bull clipped the crossbar with a half volley while Drew Phillips, Draycott and Danny Watson missed chances to get Kempston back in the game.
