Sleaford still have one eye on the teams below them following this sixth defeat in a row.

A goal in each half gave Star a double.

Home keeper Doug Lindberg was in fine form making a number of good saves. 

Karl Gibbs put the visitors on their way to victory after 29 minutes, firing home from 18 yards.

Early in the second half Pete Sutton struck the bar with a free kick for Sleaford.

Star had to wait until added time to wrap up the win, Avelino Vieira's goal arriving with 93 minutes on the clock after he ran clear of the home rearguard.
