Spalding United 0 Long Buckby 4
Saturday, 31 March 2012
Buckby maintained their pursuit of Kings Lynn with a convincing win over a depleted Tulips side at the Halley Stewart Field.
Recent signing Michael Byrne made the breakthrough for Buckby five minutes before the break, sweeping in a Russ Dunkley centre.
Byrne took his Buckby tally to four goals in two games with a 57th minute second from Fazel Koriya's corner.
Koriya added an 80th minute third direct from a left wing corner and Dan Quigley completed the scoring following Tom O'Brien's run and pass a minute into added time.
The win was Buckby's eighth in nine matches.
