After two big away wins St Ives found the going tougher at home as mid table Stewarts & Lloyds provided stern resistance.
The Foundrymen took a second minute lead through a Mark Forbes penalty after John Dean's centre was handled by Aaron Last.
Junior McDougald hit the bar for St Ives early in the second half.
St Ives squared the game after 70 minutes through youngster Max Roberts who fired home from the edge of the box.
Just a minute remained when David Cobb won the contest for the Saints, converting a Junior McDougald pass, and moved them into third place in the table.
