Potton United 3 Desborough Town 0
Saturday, 03 December 2005
New Desborough manager Steve Noble suffered his first reverse at the Ar Tarn helm as Potton continued their winning ways to open up a six point advantage at the head of the Premier Division. Two late goals gave the Royals a flattering victory margin after Desborough had defended well in the face of heavy Potton pressure. Top scorer Wes Byrne opened the scoring after 66 minutes and there was no further addition to the score until the last two minutes. John Coley scored a second Potton goal after 88 minutes with Byrne's 17th of the campaign completing the scoring a minute later.
