Yaxley 1 Buckingham Town 0
Saturday, 03 December 2005
Yaxley are now unbeaten in ten league outings after pipping the Robins at Leading Drove. Buckingham are now without a win in their last eight visits, but ran the Cuckoos close this time. Ricky Hailstone's pass set up Mark Paul to round the keeper and score his 22nd domestic goal of the campaign after 65 minutes to give Yaxley three important points to keep them well placed in the title race, seven points off the pace with four matches in hand of leaders Potton. The Robins were denied a leveller by the woodwork late on, Reuben Max-Grant the man out of luck.
