Freeland, deservedly continued their recent good run of form, to win their 5th out of 6th league games. They dominated territory and possession in the first half, but did not manage to convert their pressure into goals. However, they managed to convert their dominance into goals in the second half, when they took a 3-0 lead with a brace from Craig Wood and a goal from skipper Nathan Blackwell. Freeland were cruising to victory, but had a crazy last 10 minutes, when they switched off and gave Marston hope and two goals from the lively Tom Payne first, and then winger Josh Carr, to set up a nervous finish.
