Garsington started the game in the first 10 minutes looking quite lively but then just fell apart in which Horspath took full avantage, Garsington had a corner which ended up with Horspath clearing and going on the counter which ended in Elliott O'Brien putting the visitors in the lead. Horspath continued the pressure and were rewarded when Elliott O'Brien scored again. Horspath weren't finished there when Horspath defender Sam Gordon made it 3-0 to pile on the pressure to Garsington.

In the second half Garsington regrouped and set about trying to get something from the match. Garsington went close by shooting just wide in the opening stages of the second half. Garsington carried on the pressure and got themselves a corner which was taken by Joe Cook which eluded everyone and ended up in the back of the net. Garsington now with the lift of scoring conituned to pour forward and the pressure finally told when Joe Cook whipped in a cross which Wayne Desmond got his head too to get Garsington's second goal. Horspath were rattled and were really struggling with the wave of attacks coming at them and it was only a matter of time before Garsington got the equaliser. The comeback was complete when Aaron Barrett was left one on one with the keeper which he cooly rounded and put the ball in the back of the net,

The action was finished there as Garsington should have got the winner when Paul Bough, would did look offside but was given the benefit of the doubt only had the keeper to beat but shot straight at the keeper and keeping the score level. It was truly a game of 2 halves but niether side could find the winner.
