Blackstones 0 Wellingborough Town 2004 0
Saturday, 01 December 2007
In 2005-06 these two sides played out two draws and the first meeting of the current campaign also ended in stalemate as Stones drew a blank for the first time since September.
The draw saw Blackstones miss out on top place in the Premier Division and they will view this as two points lost after playing with a man advantage for over an hour following Luke Pritchard's dismissal.
The home side were closest to snatching victory as Dan Cotton twice hit the post, while Ashley Stevens was thwarted on three occasions by Doughboys keeper Alex Malong.
