Eynesbury Rovers 1 Northampton Sileby Rangers 2
Saturday, 20 October 2007
After eight successive league and cup defeats Rangers returned to winning the way, in the process completing a double over Eynesbury.
Eynesbury looked set for revenge when Neil Morris gave them a 19th minute lead with an 18 yard drive after good work by Stuart Humphreys, but they were pegged back four minutes after the restart by Sam Callear's leveller. Two marginal offsides prevented Eynesbury from regaining the lead and with a minute remaining Glen Walker won the contest for Sileby after Danny Workman could only parry a shot.
