The Tigers claimed South lincolnshire bragging rights with a last gasp winner.

Holbeach started brightly with Chris Johnson drawing a fine save from Tulips keeper Nick Conroy after two minutes.

Johnson, making his first appearance of the season for Holbeach, curled his side ahead from outside the box after 29 minutes.

A goalline clearance denied Simon Bolland a leveller before the break.

Holbeach doubled their advantage after 52 minutes, Dan Flack's crossfield pass picked out Mitch Griffiths on the left of the box and he jinked inside before going down under Bolland's challenge. Luke Kennedy converted the spot kick.

Another goalline clearance thwarted Glen Fuff from a Josh Ford free kick, but Spalding were back in the hunt after 73 minutes, Greg Smith sliding in to score after Leigh Overton was unable to cut out a Tom James centre from the left.

Griffiths missed a good chance to seal the points for Holbeach and three minutes from time Spalding equalised. Ben Porter's accurate free kick was won by Smith and Bolland diverted the ball inside the post.

Spalding's fightback proved in vain though as they were sunk in the final minute by Paul Goodhand's stunning low free kick into the far corner from out on the right.
