Star's lead at the top was cut to a single point as they suffered a second successive defeat.

A 75th minute Deven Ellwood goal resulting from Jimmy Dean's misplaced back pass gave promoted Thrapston their best scalp yet in the top flight.

Liam Hook was closest for the leaders, striking the post and forcing Dan Waters into his only save of the evening.
