Basement boys Desborough's season goes from bad to worse - this defeat was their heaviest of the season so far.

JohnThorpe gave Newport an eleventh minute lead and nine minutes before the interval a Martyn Donativo own goal gave the Swans their second.

Ryan Gormley cut the deficit six minutes into the second half but that was as good as things got for Ar Tarn.

Goals from Scott Mulkern who converted a rebound after 64 minutes and Dominic Lawless in a one on one with the home keeper after 68 saw Newport well in control.

Three late goals completed the rout as Desborough collapsed.

Matt Broomes scored two after 85 and 87 minutes, both from corners, and Lawless rounded off the scoring a minute into stoppage time.
