Oadby arrived in the UCL with a bang as they handed the Royals an opening day drubbing.

Sam Benjamin, signed from Eastwood on the morning of the match, set the ball rolling after 22 minutes with a twelve yard header.

Tom Williams added a second following a corner on the half hour and was joined on the scoresheet by Jon Stevenson a minute later.

Lee Duffy struck after 44 and 45 minutes to make it five for the Poachers at the interval.

Stevenson's second goal, a shot from outside the box four minutes into the second half, inflicted further pain on Potton.

With seventeen minutes remaining Duffy completed his hat trick and the rout was completed by Ben Harris eight minutes from the end.
