This match was overshadowed by an injury to Corinths defender John Boss which caused an hour long delay with just seconds of stoppage time left.

Corinths led through Andy White's well taken goal after eleven minutes but Nicky Hurst hauled Goddy on terms with a header from a Paul Bass cross ten minutes before the break.

A Bass lob five minutes into time added made Corinths the only UCL casualty against outside opponents in this round of the competition.
