This defeat left Thrapston five points adrift at the foot of the Premier Division.

Jamie Graham struck the woodwork for the home side in the first half.

It took 53 minutes for Karl Gibbs to make the breakthrough for Star, and his second goal three minutes later sealed the home victory.
