A second half comeback earned the Motormen a double over high riding Star.

Karl Gibbs struck for the visitors after 27 minutes.

A Dan Childs leveller ten minutes into the second half proved a turning point.

Three minutes later debutant Scott Cross put United in front.

Top scorer Tom Lorraine sealed the win after 70 minutes.
