Long Buckby  1    Newport Pagnell Town  3

Tuesday, 20 March 2012

Buckby's second defeat of the season saw the title initiative pass to rivals Kings Lynn.

It all started well enough for the Bucks with Fazel Koriya giving them the lead three minutes in after springing the offside trap to collect Greg Ling's pass.

Dom Lawless levelled for the Swans after twelve minutes after latching on to a flick on.

A facial injury suffered by Newport midfielder Richard Armstrong caused a lengthy first half delay.

Daren Dykes put Newport in front two minutes into first half added time, heading in a right wing cross.

The unchallenged Lawless netted again seven minutes into the second half and Buckby could find no way back into the contest as Newport keeper Josh McAdoo pulled off a string of good saves.
