Two of last season's bottom four met in this Leading Drove opener and the pair proved well matched as the spoils were shared.

Marc Day's fourth minute opener had the Cuckoos ahead at the interval and the home side deserved their advantage.

Danny Rogers hauled Desborough level three minutes into the second half and the visitors looked set for victory when the returning Iain Blaikie gave them the lead with just six minutes to play.

Andy Lodge salvaged a point for the Cuckoos with an 87th minute eaualiser, volleying in after Ricky Hailstone's free kick was flicked on by Aaron Ridout.
