kings Lynn kept their title destiny in their own hands as they avenged a Station Road defeat on the opening day of the season.
Chris Bacon scrambled home the vital goal after just 52 seconds, converting a Jamie Thirlbourne cross.
Buckby had their chances with Fazel Koriya missing their best opening but it was the Linnets who were closest to a further goal with a Jack Defty header against the post from a Luke Thurlbourne centre.
