Managerless Ar Tarn found themselves outgunned at Carters Park as the Tigers found their goal touch.

Alex Beck opened the scoring for Holbeach after 28 minutes, beating a defender to shoot low into the bottom left corner but Matt Warfield's handball gave Iain Blaikie the opportunity to score a 42nd minute leveller from the penalty spot  for Desborough.

Holbeach soon regained the initiative on resumption and three goals in the space of five minutes gave them a stranglehold on the points.

Jason Sedlan put Holbeach back in the lead on 47 minutes after Beck and Craig Parker combined, Liam Nimmo joined the marksmen two minutes later after a right wing run and cross by Beck and Parker extended the lead further after 52 minutes, diving full length to head in a Nimmo centre.

Warfield then had a penalty saved by Tom Smith following a foul on Parker.

Desborough showed spirit and hauled themselves back into contention with goals from Jon Quaid after 68 minutes and Blaikie's second six minutes later.

Holbeach sealed the win through Beck's second goal from a Sedlan pass twelve minutes from the end.
