The first derby of the Division One campaign saw Potton celebrate their first league success on their travels since February 2008.

The opening goal came from one of last season's Royals regulars Dean Hamilton who converted a 25th minute spot kick awarded for a foul on Graham Tibbals.

Wootton enjoyed plenty of pressure but th visiting defence held firm.

The outcome remained in the balance until the fifth minute of added time at the end of the contest when debutant Tibbals sealed Potton's win with an 18 yard finish from a swift breakaway.
